It is rare these days, but before Covid there was an hourly Manchester Airport-Newcastle service which was 802 operated. Also Northern used to operate a service from Wilmslow to Manchester Victoria with a 319 very late night a few years ago
Its been reported that 0518 Preston-Barrow, formed of 195104 and 195133, have derailed near to Grange Over Sands.

Unfortunately not, as TPE have called at Rochdale(and Todmorden/Hebden Bridge) in the past. Happened several times when the normal route was closed and Northern were required to give up path to make it room.
197110 has been stabed overnight at Piccadilly, instead if the booked 158. Its only just been noticed by the train crew that it would be a 5 car, so the 'booked' attachment isn't happening
That's because there has been lots of disruption in South Manchester today. There has been point failures at Marple, Cheadle Hulme and Longport plus and unfortunate incident early this morning at Congleton
The following use Platform 12 during normal service:
0606 Crewe
0820 Buxton
1718 Stoke, the unit for this stables from 0825
1736 Crewe
1836 Crewe
1920 Buxton
1936 Wilmslow
2020 Buxton
2036 Wilmslow
2120 Buxton
2323 Hazel Grove
On Sundays it tends to be used to stable units
It normally following the 17:06 Manchester Piccadilly-Crewe. That service gets looped at Sandbach to let both the XC and TfW pass. Yesterday it was early because the 17:06 running 17 late by Stockport it passed it there instead
1V33 only got as far as the first signal out of Manchester Piccadilly this morning before coming to a stand. Limped back into the station about 30 minutes late
