I'd be very surprised if the OP's original post had any weight. Having seen first hand how this process works, it is normally Retail pricing managers working to the timetable in terms of setting restrictions. I've never seen a train planning manager set a timetable based on ticket restrictions...

Not sure how far that would get ya. Its already been mentioned that the conditions of travel (which are laid down by the RDG and DaFT) that the TOC's don't accept responsibility for luggage, its also mentioned in the same conditions that you can not block doorways and walkways with luggage...

That a relic and simply means they don't have the right tech in place yet. I used to have to sell them vouchers from Advantix machines back in the day when the onboard card machines were being upgraded. I'm sure TFW will have a mobile solution in the pipeline already.
I've visited the social media desks for my TOC and replies like this can be issued out with the click of a button. Most TOC's that I have seen do have operating hours for their desks but don't usually have out of office replies across platforms like Twitter and Facebook.

Yep, Euston is definitely managed by NR. It may have VT staff working on it (such as fine chaps like me :lol:) but NR do all the day to day stuff like ped flows, maintenance and stakeholder management.
