Hello Waterboo, sorry it has taken so long to reply I have been quite busy recently. To answer your question, I absolutely love being a guard and it is my opinion if one of the best jobs you can have on the railway. The hours can be long and unsociable at times but I don't regret making the switch at all. Being a Guard on SWT you can get quite a bit of variety in your working route and depending on your home depot you can end up signing quite a few routes and traction.
