Morning all, Been a little while but I have a slightly complex (?!) ticketing query. I was due to travel to on 1st October (SPT-DON via TPE, then DON-KGX via GCR) on AP tickets, leg one is 1st class, leg 2 is standard. The only reason for this routing is because the usual SPT-EUS was impossible...

Thanks for the reply. I don't quite understand your remark about distance; Stoke is a permitted change as is Kidsgrove, but Stoke is significantly further as a station change; likewise, Cheadle Hulme is closer than Stockport. But the two major changes often represent a quicker overall journey...

True, although I've not known this train to be late (local service and it sits at Piccadilly for a while before returning south again so plenty of catch-up time). Who knows though, for once I might be praying for a late train!:lol:

My mistake, I was looking at the outward ticket (which does include a booked portion on a VT); the return journey is 'AP TPE & Connectns', but presumably the connections bit still applies if I'm intending to catch a VT?
