    Glasgow Subway new stock

I notice unit 303 has been in service over the last week, meaning that at least 3 of the new stock (302, 303 and 306) have now entered passenger service.

    East Kilbride/Barrhead electrification updates

380114 passing Crossmyloof at 1147 today.

    Scotrail Class 385 Discussion

Quite a few of the Lanarks are 6 cars as well as the occasional E-G via Shotts.

    Scottish Electrification updates & discussion

Some drivers must still be trained for the Circle and the Newton branch as 334s were used on the line during the Argyle Line blockade in summer 2018.

Just a small new detail - the text on the front destination screen of 380005 now scrolls much faster than previously.

    Scotrail Class 385 Discussion

There has been a 385 on the Newton via Queens Park diagrams for the last 2 days. These diagrams were carried out by a 380 before.

    Class 314 Withdrawals

As far as I’m aware 204 is still at Eastleigh and 209 is still at Yoker.

Glasgow Queen Street refurbishment and remodelling

Is there any work planned for the North Hanover Street side of the station? It appears rather underdeveloped just now compared with the rest of the station.

    Class 314 Withdrawals

Gruesome! The pics from Facebook once again seem to only show the two front carriages from 210 going to Adam & Sons for scrap. Does this mean there more middle carriages on their way south to Long Marston?

    Class 314 Withdrawals

It’s a shame no one caught 210 and 216 making what I assume will be the final 314 movement under their own power on Sunday (unless 209 moves under its own power at some point).

A recast of the Argyle/North Clyde lines is planned in the near-distant future.

    Class 314 Withdrawals

A decent view of the units is offered from the bridge on Kelso Street and the bridge on Hawick Street.

Glasgow Queen Street refurbishment and remodelling

Passed through the station today. I think the new screens are an improvement, though they contrast heavily with the screens at the platform ends which still have orange writing.
