Not Surrey Quays, it's very definitely Southern colours.

It's not Anerley. Wrong line.

I like having epiphanies like that.

A fairly easy one, fresh off the camera (it just happened to be in the first the batch to transferred - I don't think I have anything left on this computer).

An embarrassing guess such as Rugby is in order.

I don't recall a ramp like that at Rugby, and I see headspans on the OHL so I suspect this is on the ECML somewhere. But I can't think where, so I'll randomly submit Darlington.

Not ECML?

Hmmm....

Can't be Preston because the ramps are under the roof.... Carlisle doesn't have a ramp...

Unless they've put one in since I was last there?

Carlisle?

Some West Coast stations have such headspanning, I think. Maybe just the north ones. Also, Paddington to Airport Junction has similar.

I really don't have a clue. Is Southall any closer?

Correct, looking north from the main up platform. The ramp has been there as long as I can remember, though doesn't service the passenger footbridge.

Strewth... my memory must be going!

Then again, it's quite a few years since I have been through Carlisle in daytime!

Stations between New Cross gate - Norwood Jn now display the "red roundel" sign so I shall guess at
Forest Hill

There is new block of flats behind the down slow platform

I think all LO are now roundell-ed, yes. This one is orange, although that is quite difficult to tell... :p

It's not ELL.

I do. I don't really have a clue, I thought it had a post east end-ish feel. There is no evidence of OHLE, although it could be cunningly discuised.

Leyton Midland Road?
