Depot Engineering Jobs Leics/Notts?

Hi all, Dave Wood here.

I'm currently nearing the end of my 24 years in the RAF as Ground Support Equipment Technician (plant fitter).

I'm very keen to gain employment at either Toton, Notts or Brush Traction, Loughborough. Although I've been a manager for the last 4 years, I'm keen to get back on the spanners. I have a keen interest in all things railways, especially on the heritage front.

I live in Melton Mowbray and I’m prepared to commute up to an hour in all directions.

Has anyone any sound advice on a way forward?

Hi Woody,

Have you thought about London? Just over your hour by train but if you get the right TOC travel would be free. Several depots in North London I know First have been looking out for fitters at Acton.
