Hi all,
I spent last Thursday to Monday in Germany, trying to experience some loco-hauled passenger and freight trains. Currently going through the pictures which will take some time to upload. However, I've uploaded shots from last Thursday and Friday morning that cover Hamburg. While there I visited Maschen to the see the yard:

As well as Harburg where I got to see a rail-grinder in action:

And a 216:

Along with a Diesel NOB service in Altona:

Large selection of shots can be found here:

Other parts from the trip will be uploaded over the next week or so.
Enjoy!

Hi all,
Final update from my trip is a non-train one. On the Saturday we visited the ILA Berlin Air Show, where we got to see some aircraft one does not normally get to see in Ireland.

Aircraft include the Mig29:

The A400 'Atlas':

As well as displays by helicopters:

And a mid-air refuel display:

Enjoy!
