There is no 1st class on the direct EMT trains... But you can buy a first class ticket in case you wish to travel 1st class by TPE to Leeds, EC Leeds to Peterborough, XC Peterborough to Ely and thence GA Ely to Norwich. Actually, it may be quicker Manchester to Peterborough to travel via Leeds or Sheffield.

There are first class fares on that flow but you're not going to be using first class on EMT services because as already indicated there is no first class on EMT services on that route. Could the OP please let us know exactly what ticket they hold?

The only MAN - NRW First Class fares I can find are

573.00 First Anytime Return route +Via London
286.50 First Anytime Single route +Via London
082.00 First Advance Single route +VWC & COnnections
067.50 First Advance Single route +VWC & Connections
046.00 First Advance Single route +VWC & Connections

And This Which I have no idea about

So it stands to reason that the OP is actually supposed to be going with Virgin to London, Circle/H+C/Met line to Liverpool Street, then GA to Norwich

So I assume Virgin from Manchester

FC is separate from the standard. The extra I cant help you with. I think you get a meal and a trolley with free tea and coffee and snacks

Just to note: Engineering work is taking place on the line which your train would normally take between Norwich and London this Satuday.

Buses are replacing trains between Witham and Shenfield.

I would reccommend to you that you travel on a First Capital Connect service to Cambridge from London Kings Cross changing onto a Greater Anglia service to Norwich. This will save you the rail replacement bus, Kings Cross is within walking distance of Euston, where your train will drop you from Manchester.

Unfortunately, this way you will encounter no complementary refreshments onward from London however First Class will be available. On arrival at Euston, you may wish to visit the First Class lounge. North of London, on Virgin Trains, an at seat service of basic refreshments will be available.
