I've just had a mooch on the Scotrail Bargain Berths website for my daughter and I, and I've come up with what is possibly the most absolute steal of a rail fare.

Tuesday 15th Jan, London Euston to Fort William, in a berth £19.00 (14th £39, 16th £29)

Grab it whie its available !

19th January 2013 is a Saturday, when the sleeper does not operate. I assume this is a typo in the OP?

It is a typo, it should have said 15th, sorry

Well there aren't any on a Tuesday now or for £19!

You're right, I hope that someone from here got it. The 16th is still up for grabs at £29.

I can only go on a Friday night, which doesn't seem to come up as a Bargain Berth. £116 seems to be the Friday fare to Fort William, but £63ish is available to Inverness -- however, its my daughters birthday treat and she'd rather go to Fort William than Inverness. Such was the great trip that we had last year for her 5th Birthday, courtesy of Carol and Scotrail !
