but not at Old Trafford. wow just wow.

mind you adding to that. man utd should have had a 2nd penalty for another blatant hand ball. bizarre decision not to give it as the ref clearly saw it.

Fulham did score a late consolation goal in their 4-1 defeat. However, Fulham have not produced many good perfomances away from home this season.

The F A Trophy is turning into a farce, the 5th round draw takes place on Monday and a 3rd round match has been postponed yet again due to weather related problems with Gateshead's pitch.

BTW if Luton manage to progress any further, when was the last time a non-league team reached the quarter-finals of the F A cup ?

The draw dates are fixed into the calender, I think it was 2 years ago where they had the draw for the 5th round of the FA trophy when there was not 1 game played in the 4th round due to snow/ice/frost/rain (cant remember what the reasons was but I remember hearing about it)

In answer to your question, I dont think there has been a team from outside the football league who has reached the Quarter finals of the FA cup, but I could be wrong

Didn't someone win it (Tottenham?) in the 20s whilst in non-leagu?

Close :p

2-2 at Griffin Park and a richly deserved replay at Stamford Bridge to come.

Nice work from Leeds knocking out Spurs :)

I'm happy we got the result yesterday, nobody fancies going to Stoke in Winter. I'm doubly delighted that it was Zabaleta that scored the winner. I'm not happy however that someone escaped a blatant red card despite Howard Webb having a perfect view of it...

Altogether now... "He's Bald, He's Red, He sleeps in Fergies bed, Howard Webb...." :p

So only 7 out of 16 are premiership teams, If the draw goes right for forthcoming rounds we could have a lower team in the final.

I think I speak for most Newcastle fans when I say I'm shocked at the amount of money Ashley has spent this week. In light of this, I'll give Pardew another chance, but if he can't get results with these new players, he has to go.

I expected Leeds to get thrashed today but thanks to poor decisions from AVB, Tottenham being complacent and Leeds getting stuck in we got a result.

luke varney has had an awful season but scored a great goal today. bring on man city!

Anyone else heard that Luton vs Millwall is being televised? It is going to be a Crimewatch special.

its probably the only way it will be on tv because we all know (yet again) manchester united and city's cup games will be shown, so will oldham and maybe wigan's match.
am i the only one who is bored of having at least 1 Manchester club on tv every week?

Oh come on! What is this history fetish about Luton fans being violent (thus distinguishing them from all others?). From family experience, they are generally very well behaved. The only recent incident that comes to mind involved the notorious fans from York, who really did cause trouble wherever they went.
