8 Bit Germans and some low tech home made special effects (see the outtakes at the end) in a homage to Close Encounters of the Third Kind - I suspect the UFO might have been more convincing if made on something more powerful then a C64!

I've been introduced to the new Pet Shop Boys album, 'Electric.' I've never really listened to them before but I've been playing through the tracks and I think it's superb.

watching this Blackout thing on channel 4, my interest is waning after 2 guys were on a railway station moaning about no electric trains running from there (and the nearest diesel powered service being 26 miles away) ... naturally the shot panned out to a railway station with no overhead lines/3rd rail on it :roll:
