Who have drivers based in Derby

As the header says looking for who has drivers based in Derby or within 40ish minutes drive away.

I'm wanting to become a train driver and everywhere ive seen so far is either to far south or north!!

Can't relocate so got to be in the East/West midlands.:D

Derby;
EMT, XC

Nottingham;
EMT

Leicester;
XC

Birmingham (various stations);
LM, XC, Chiltern, Virgin

Sheffield;
EMT, possibly others.


If you're looking to join the grade as a Trainee then XC and Virgin are ruled out. EMT usually expect you to apply as a Depot Driver and work your way through to Mainline. Chiltern recently advertised for trainees but it is very unusual. LM take trainees on regularly.

So your best chances are with EMT, LM, Northern or TPE.

No EMT drivers at Sheffield - just Northern and TPE, I think.

no virgin depot at brum

Virgin's crew depot is at Wolves.

LM also have crew depots at Wolves and Coventry, in addition to the two Birmingham depots.
