Huuummmm "New" i think there's a chance that a few Scania's could be coming from somewhere ,Depends when new WiFi one's will be ready for somewhere else :lol:

Chorley? Though I suspect my friends idea of them being to Gold spec is a little off, can’t see the people of Clayton Brook treating them very well.

In other news, Preston based Solo 47494 has received a Cummins engine, joining 47489, 25226 & 25227.

Is Lancaster still working with half a bus station?

Yes, Lancaster still only has half a bus station, and will stay that way until at least spring...

16120 is staying with Highlands, expected to replace Aviemore's E400 on schools so that can go to Fort William to help see off 16118/9.

A quick visit to Lancaster yesterday (24th) found olympians 16795 & 16634 in service, not sure what 16795 was up to as the display hasnt shown in the picture and there was no one on it.

Also, MAN based Enviro300 22595 working route 4, I didn't know Lancaster had gained such a vehicle.

47248 is being re-trimmed and will be the first ME based solo to be in the revised livery when it goes for repaint.
16650 and 16652 have probably gone back to their depots.

And not before time! They'll look grand when they have been freshened up. I assume they will be going for paint straight away? I would have though the ex Magic Olys would be top of the list for paint, if they are going to bother...

I believe 16650 returned to Carlisle last Thursday and it was on route 104 Friday so I expect 16336 has gone away.

16795 did the 1550 49 from Lancaster bus station to Halton on the 23rd.

Is there a rough date for when Carlisle will get the Fort Bill olys?

16118/9 arrived over the weekend. When they enter service rather depends on how much work they're found to need...

It went up on Friday afternoon dropping 16652 off at Lillyhall on the way. It got to Lowther Street to do the 104, before me, after dropping it off at Willowholme

The following has been sent out to Lancaster University students and staff:

Changes to Bus Services - November 2013

Lancaster University has been working closely with Stagecoach to implement suitable service alterations for the benefit of University staff and students following the service changes implemented by Stagecoach on 29th September. The following minor service alterations will occur as follows:

From Monday 4th November 2013

Additional Services 3s - from 09:25 until 17:25 (driver break 12:25 – 13:25) Stagecoach will operate an additional hourly Service 3 from Common Garden Street (Double-decker) to the Underpass, returning on the hour from the Underpass to Common Garden Street, therefore adding a further 74 seats at key lecture start/finish times.

Service 42 (Blackpool) buses travelling to the University from Lancaster will clearly display the University on their destination boards. All Service 42 buses stop at the Underpass.

From Monday 11th November 2013

The following morning peak Lancaster to Preston buses (via Greaves) will be diverted onto campus to serve the Underpass and Alexandra Park. This will provide additional morning peak capacity through Greaves. The University will be clearly displayed on the destination board on the front of these buses.

The 07:17 Service 40 from Lancaster Bus Station will operate to the Underpass via Greaves, arriving at 07:32.
The 08:27 Service 41 from Lancaster Bus Station will operate to the Underpass via Greaves, arriving at 08:43.
From February 2014

Stagecoach is planning further major service improvements for February 2014. This will allow sufficient time for consultation and for the mandatory 8-week notice period to register the service changes with the Traffic Commissioner.

Few movements from CY shortly 16654 is destined for LL, both 33472 and 21109 will be going to pastures new which will leave 16653 at CY until christmas then that will be going, CY will then be 100% low floor.

A decision will be made soon as to when the MAN's/Darts will be departing to pastures new, keep your eyes on the new vehicle orders....:)
