Presume that means that 34620 and 22257 are finally back on the road? And 16654 has been replaced by 18156?

Yes soon, 34620 is currently being re painted and 22257 still requires attention but its all part of the master plan, the s reg tridents will be moving out soon as they are becoming a little tired and not suitable for CY, that will probably see either 3 of the higher fleet numbers in or the lower one's which follow 18145 or 18156 yet TBC tho.

We are aware that fleets are going to be re arranged so that numbering is consistant at each depot.

That assumes that Cumbria & N. Lancs will not be getting any deckers next year.....

(I will categorically state now that I have no idea what the 2014/5 order is at all, nor what C&NL may or may not get.)

A decision will be made soon as to when the MAN's/Darts will be departing to pastures new, keep your eyes on the new vehicle orders....:)

Chorley due new vehicles for the 109/113? Could do with the extra capacity on the routes at all times, often see Solos running full.

Just read that, from the 9th December, Stagecoach are to regain the 74 Larkholme-Blackpool route currently operated by Cumfybus. They will also get the 82 which is being reduced to Fleetwood - Poulton. 4 buses will be needed in total to operate both routes. (Info from Fylde Bus Blog)

At the same time the 75 moves from Cumfybus to Prestonbus, and the 80 is operated by CBNW on a commercial basis, which has led to the changes.The notable feature is Cumfybus closing its operations at Poulton le Fylde, and axing all Blackpool and the Fylde area services.

Why have you felt the need to post that? I posted the information that was relavent to Stagecoach as this is a Stagecoach thread. The rest of the changes to those services relate to other operators who are not Stagecoach.

Dart 34620 is in service today on 109/113 looking very nice in its fresh coat of paint.

Somehow, it may just be me, but the vehicle looks different from other Stagecoach solos, I just don't know why. Anyway, has the interior been refurbished, or left as is, with replacement of First logos by Stagecoach logos?

The "new" livery- which is just the old livery without the coloured swooshes at the front.

Didn't people say it was to match the Versa's? Which have blue boxes for the destination not white.....

Heard a whisper that the Sellafield park n ride and site bus service contract is up in April and heard that Stagecoach are keen to regain it from Reays

I dont think its been mentioned on here yet. Dart 33178 PN02KCF has transferred to Chorley from Gillmoss to replace 21109 which (from what I've read) has been involved in an RTC. Its working one of the combined 109/113 diagrams today, have to say its got a nice deep sounding engine.

Just an update on this, 33178 is currently on loan from GM to CY whilst 15575is repaired following a serious RTC.

21109 & 33472 have/will move from CY to pastures new, the next movements will be the MAN's to wherever and at some point in the early part of next year the Tridents will move as we bring in more suitable vehicles for TFGM school contracts.

Service 109 is currently under review with a view to employing new E300 vehicles, at present Dart/Man will be present at various times to see how feasable this may be.


18156 will be out and about on various routes so all enthusiasts can get a picture..:)

My guess would be that the ALX300s will be replaced (for now) by the 2006 darts currently in reserve at Gillmoss?

Presume at the moment that it's just a case of swapping Tridents around within MY&SL, until new vehicle orders can be confirmed.

52627 entered service with Lillyhall a few days ago and is back on it's old haunt on X4 today. 47617 is also finally back in service with it's new engine, on Moorclose 51 today.

Saw a B10B in Windermere on the 599s earlier- what's that doing there? Wasn't the last one in service in Carlisle (and are the other three still hanging around somewhere...)?
Being almost low floor, i'd have thought they's have been better to keep, in some ways, than the ex-Manchester B10Ms

21007 has been allocated to Kendal for a while. Was transferred from Morecambe when 22595 entered service, to enable a schoolrunner to move to Lillyhall.
The other B10Bs remain in reserve at Morecambe.

A second ex First Bus Solo to enter service at Preston is 47745 X614OBN (ex First 40311). This, along with 47742, has recived a full refurb inside and out.

The third Solo to enter service at Preston is former Merseyside based 47709 MX54YZR.

I've read that Stagecoach are gaining 4 buses worth of services from the changes being made to the Fylde Villager network of routes from Monday (9th Dec). So I guess a fourth Solo should be around soon.

So far its: 47709, 47742 & 47745. All of which are in the new Solo livery.

It's the first day of the new Fylde network, so has anyone managed to find out the number of the fourth solo that Stagecoach need for the network?
