Good Day All

I will travel Hartlepool to KX this weekend, am flexible, so obviously want to avoid 180s. Can anyone tell me what the pattern is these days, for Sat, Sun and Monday?

Many thanks - Morpethcurve

Rode an HST H'pool to KGX as planned - thanks for schedule advice above. Bought the ticket the night before for £31, and took a gamble on the £11 upgrade.

I had observed over the previous couple of days one set still two first class vehicles, the other doesn't. Mine was the former so the gamble failed, as a tech problem prevented hot drinks. In practical terms all I got for my £11 was fruit juice and biscuits!

The carriage was filthy, remnants of a Baby-bel cheese portion under my table. There was a travelling cleaner but he wasn't very enthusiastic. I know its a soul-destroying job though. At least the power points worked.

Not my best GC trip but I'm pleased I have a periodic need for rail travel on a route where there is an HST!

Anyway, I noticed there was no buffet in carriage D. Have they decided more seats is a more lucrative use of space?

Regards - Morpethcurve
