I am only just getting into Realtime Trains, but what is this?

STP pass Doncaster Royal Mail Terml 652C ZZ Port Clarence (Gbrf) 1902½ 1902

Is it a regular working? How much other traffic works the branch into or out of the old ICI plants at Billingham? :(

i remember putting up a post about Gbrf possibly getting some tank work at the greenergy facility at port the other year. never got anything back maybe this is the start of it?. Also don't flats get dropped off near Belasis Lane signal box in the old yard opposite for collection. i know there has been a bit of work on the site at belasis Lane don't know whats going on though.

Last time I heard it wasn't seeing much use as the Phillips plant was either being closed or stopped sending freight by rail. This was a few years ago now, and certainly the last time I went through Billingham the tracks from Norton were rusty.

800 tonnes is just the timing load, it doesnt mean it will be 800 tonnes, it could be anything from 1 empty wagon up to 800 tonnes.

cheers 455driver i didn't know that, you learn something new everyday. funny thing is its been given a 20minute slot from Billingham Jn(Billingham SB) to Belasis Lane SB a distance of no more than a mile and a half. which will in reality take all of ooh 5 mins. i remember 20's 37's 47's and 56's bombing up and down there whan i was a kid.i hope someone gets a shot of it. currently 3L out of York.
