If only the same thing could have been said about Roy Keane (scum) who ITV ended up apologising for during an FA Cup game between the same two teams where said "pundit" flat out refused to say anything positive about City. This was a few years back too, and it appears he has changed somewhat too...

Worst thing about Keane on ITV is the sheer hypocrisy of him talking about loyalty and commitment from England players, given how he walked out on HIS national team days before a World Cup

On matters closer to home, it's time for Mark Robins to go now. That was up there with the very worst performances I've seen in 25years of watching... and I've seen some pretty shambolic performances in that time!

Well done Chelsea on progressing to The Champions League Semi-Finals - let's hope Manchester United can follow suit :p

I never cared for Keane as a player, but as a pundit I love him. It's obvious he's never going to say anything nice about City (in the same way the also-excellent Robbie Savage doesn't about Villa, or the surprisingly decent Neil Lennon will about us), but he's so honest and accurate you can't ignore him. I also like the fact, to be blunt, he doesn't give a **** (insert whatever word you like ;)) about it either. He received a lot of hate when he said Nani's red in the CL a couple of years back was a red card - it's a very rare trait to find club legends who are as honest and open as that. You will have to go a very long way to find a pundit who isn't biased (and you'll end up with Steve bloody Claridge when you do), but you'll have an even harder job to find pundits who wear their heart on their sleeve and tell it like it is like Keane, Savage and Lawrenson etc do.

Dream semi-final line up would be

Real Madrid v Bayern Munich
Atletico Madrid v Chelsea

With both Spanish teams crashing out, with a repeat of the 2012 final where Bayern gets revenge

I bet Hyde fans wish season just end now as Hyde lost 7-2 to Cambridge, saying that Droylsden fans probably think of same thing as they lost 3-0 to Stamford.

No Oldham match this weekend due to Sheff Utd playing in FA Cup SF and it not been good day for Oldham as Bristol City, Colchester, Crawley, Notts County and Tranmere all won but Oldham stay 17th and also stay four points clear from drop zone and have better goal diff then bottom 6 so it could be worse then it is.

Well done to any Wolves fans on here as Wolves won 2-0 at Crewe mean Wolves have been promotion back to Championship, they could win League One title on good Friday if they beat Rotherham and Brentford lose to Preston.

I wasn't totally convinced when Jackett was appointed but he's done very well considering who he's got as a chairman and CEO.

I will be happy with mid-table next season as the money that needs to be spent won't be.

Out of the 2 Cup semi finals the Scottish Cup one was far more entertaining for the neutral, the English one showed Arsenal aren't the team everyone thought they were going to be this season (My Daughter is a Gooner btw) Even if they win the FA Cup, Premier League wise they're falling further behind each season

Mick would have kept you in the Premiership and let's not ask again  what happened to the twenty odd million from player sales a couple of summers back.

But those two games in hand can only bring a maximum haul of six points.

True, although if I was a betting man I'd put for City to win both, so effectively only 1 point behind.
It wouldn't be true context to have just said 7 points ahead, without mentioning the games in hand.

Yes it would. Liverpool have those 7 points, plenty of people thought they wouldn't this morning, me included. Manchester City don't and still have to win them. Even if they win the games in hand it isn't guaranteed and Liverpool have to start loosing or drawing. It is currently completely out of Man Citys hands. It would take real blind faith to say City are going to win the league based on form and points. That said I'm not being cocky and would still be astounded if we managed it.

After 24 years is there finally a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel ?

While I still think many Liverpool fans are blinkered and big-headed, I am genuinely glad that Liverpool are doing well and are ahead of the two Manchester teams.

A Liverpool 1-2 will be even better.

No offence of course but where do you meet these Liverpool fans? I live and work in Liverpool and am from there. I am a born and bred Liverpool fan as are lots of my mates apart from the blues. Most of us are cautiously optimistic at the very best. If I could show you my Facebook news feed now it isn't full of my red mates saying "We're going to win the league". In fact its the opposite, no one wants to be a Jonah.

There are a lot of Liverpool fans in Bournemouth, and shall I just say that some of the things I heard before our FA Cup clash earlier in the year did not really endear me to a lot of your fans.

Of course it is no representative of the great majority, as with all clubs, but there were quite a fair bit of ill-informed comments at the time, and over the years, which really make me cringe. I don't think they are morons, more deluded. A lot of it I put down to people basking in past glory and stemming from disappointment with a lack of strong challenges in the league in recent years.

However there is no changing that I still think of Liverpool as a great club, with more prestige and heritage than that lot at Old Trafford. I would be more than pleased if Liverpool take the crown in the next two years to reclaim the title as the team with most top-division championships.

Fair play mate. I wish some of the out of town fans would have more respect for their local teams or perhaps even support them instead. It might boost the money their local team have and thus how they perform. It will make it even easier for me to get a ticket for my local team (And yes, if you want a ticket for Liverpool you can actually still get one, at face value).
