Another planet...
That looks better than the 'Compass' livery, which I've never been a fan of.

Generally though, train liveries are the one thing in life I'm rather conservative about. The old, original DRS livery on the 20s and first few 37s had way more class, especially on locomotives of such 'vintage'!

That looks amazing! It makes the 37s look a lot newer than they really are! Best livery around at the moment methinks :P

Now I somehow need to find an N guage model of it though :s ...

Seeing this makes the relivery of 90034 look such a half-ar*sed effort - come on DRS, apply some grey matter to the Class 90!

Agreed,
The 37 and 68 livery looks much better than the 90.

Also I wander when they will do the 20s, 47s and 57s.

I think it looks brilliant! Modern liveries aren't as bad as some make out and certainly diverse. Compare this livery with DBS for example, you couldn't get much more different!

Not a fan of that at all. The last livery was better and the original one even more so. In fact, I'd put the 90 above that.

I'm not keen on it.
The livery as carried on the 68s is quite impressive looking,

but this version looks lazy IMHO... I suppose it could just be how the livery has been applied to the class 37 shell, but the previous "Compass" version looked far superior as far as I'm concerned.

It looks a bit less dated and amateur than the older version but I still find it much too fussy. It's as bad as the various First group liveries with their over-complicated swooshes and colour gradients and the like.

Strong, simple and adaptable liveries work best, especially on older locos, which are all different shapes and inevitably have all sorts of features like grilles and hatches scattered around. Combine those complicated shapes and surfaces with a complicated livery and you end up with a mess.

I think one of the strongest liveries around at the moment is the Colas one.
