I'm filming at Birmingham New Street next Friday and was wondering if anyone else has either taken photographs or filmed here? If you have, have you ever had any problems with the staff on the station? ie, asking why you're there, asking you to move to another platform etc...I would greatly appreciate any answers, thank you :D

Follow the advice here and you should be fine. I recommend printing a copy for anyone not familiar (aka jobsworths) http://www.networkrail.co.uk/aspx/777.aspx

Go to the sign on point next to customer reception first to ask.

One of my friends went there the other night and got refused sign in. the bloke said to him cos of construction workers however I think the same man has caused others problems as well. Then my friend went down to P4 started taking photos and was then called over the PA to stop taking photos or the police would be called.

I've been there now and everything was fine, the staff smiled and just let me get on with it.
