London Travelcard Query

Morning all,

Just wondering. I'm planning on doing a bash of the overground lines in London next week. I'm just wondering is the all zone day travelcard valid on ALL overground lines within the Zones? And with all TOC's i.e Southern, SWT, Southeastern, One, C2c?

Travelcards

Travelcards are valid for travel on:

* The Tube, DLR, London Overground and buses
* Trams, where your Travelcard includes Zone 3, 4, 5 or 6
* National Rail (excluding Heathrow Connect between Hayes & Harlington and Heathrow, and on Heathrow Express)
* Scheduled Riverboat services at 1/3 off the normal fare. Just show your Travelcard (or Oyster card with a Travelcard on it) at the time of travel

Your Travelcard must be valid for all the zones you travel through.

Looks like it is providing you have an all zones pass.

Its valid on pretty much everything except Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect between Hayes and Heathrow.

Just remember to observe trains which stop to pick up only - like certain services out of Liverpool Street to Norwich for example, and their stop at Stratford.
A conductor would be right to charge you the single rate to the next stop which is a set down stop - which in most of these cases would be out of the zones.

What do you mean by "doing a bash" on the overground lines?

Used it uesturday.

£4.80 for a Zone 1-9 card with my YP.

And by bash, I mean a mileage bash. Did all the London Overground lines, and spent a good few hours down in Clapham Jct.

Going down again on the 7th of March

I'm sure it is not possible to cover all the overground lines in one day. there are too many branch lines with irregular services.
