Any updates?

Which trains have been named (have a plaque inside for someone/something) that are still unrefurbished? I was on a train a week or so back and the plaques had been removed but I didn't catch the number, other than it was red livery.

i would like to apologise for the double post,poor internet quality, i should think 4014 is due back soon, as for the named units,there are only 2 left as far as i know, 4048 and 4026

4026 and 4077 are the 2 named metrocars left at the moment, I noticed 4077 in the has stickers around the interior showing this but they look like the ones that you can easily peel off as quite a few of them have been peeled off.

Although I can't confirm but 4014 could be back with 4016 heading to Doncaster?

thats the blue era at an end then, i dont know why i thought 4048 was named, is the stickers just a case of cheapness or is 4077 being prepped for wabtec, it must of been 4014 that returned unless its got problems delaying its return otherwise it would be 4055

4014 is definitely back, unless I'm seeing things - wouldn't be a first . I believe it was on a Pelaw short yesterday with 4041.

4014 is in the bowels of the depot (on 8 road) it hasn't been out in service as the plastic covers are still on the seats, the new driver seats have just been fitted, it came back last week from Doncaster.

It hasn't been out on the network running in has it? If it has, then that will likely be when I saw it.

It may have been brake tested towards the airport but this is done single car.

Was running today up to the Airport and back as 171.

4038 is still here I believe?

What other changes were made?

i added 4038 cus somebody commented in the old thread that they seen 4038 leaving dunno if its true,

4007,14,16,24,35,55,87 have also been edited and service statuses have been taken off, let me know if

you can find out about 4038

Probably right as 4080(which was paired with 4038) is now paired with 4084 and the only other unrefurbished unit I have not seen until today was 4045.


I'm sure I also seen 4055 today paired with 4020 but it was only a quick glance and it was dark so not 100% sure.

4038 was definitely down at Hylton St at 4pm yesterday, so probably went down today.

and 4035 should of been the one that returned?
