Hi All, I'm new to all this and looking for a bit of help / info. Could anyone help me or show me an example of a network rail operative shift pattern. I'm in the process of a job as an operative with them but would like an idea on what sort of hours/shifts I would be working. Any help would be much appreciated:D

Is it as a p-way operative?

Most likely average 35 hours a week.

Well as S&T I do a mix of early, late and night turns. Usually 7 or 5 shifts then 5 or 4 rest days. P-way is probably going to have an element of on call.

Well at the interview i was told it was 35 hr week and a mix of days and nights including saturday nights. sometimes 12 hrs sometimes a lot less. All based on a 13 week roster. On call if i wanted but haven't got to do it... i just wondered how the 13 week roster worked...
