3 new locos after a day at work yesterday (a record I think!). Had 68011/13/14 in the West Mids, clearing my Chiltern 68s. Also had 4 new Trams to kill some time in between leaps.

That completes all Northern 153s for me and leaves me with just one 350 and one 395 to go. Most of Northern's 153s I scored on the double diagram on the Cumbrian Coast.

Winners in the last month

August 28/29th
Denver has 172 light rail units (Siemens SD100 & SD160) composed each of 2 cars.
112 were had for haulage in 2 days

September 2nd
San Diego
35 of the Trolleys were had in my 2 hour bash to add to my collection.

September 7/8/9th
San Francisco
10 new winning Streetcars added to my tally making 32 total.

CalTrain operates the mainline between San Francisco and San Jose.
29 diesel locos are dedicated to this 50 mile line.
I managed 5 winners that takes me to 21 now. The line will soon be electrified and run with Units. Another trip should clear them.

September 17th
Liverpool
319367 11:20 Lime St-Earlestown (319s now all cleared)

September 23rd
Edinburgh
170456 16:45 Waverley-Haymarket. (all 170s now cleared)
which then dropped nicely onto the 68
68003 17:12 Haymarket-Inverkeithing (winner)
Makes 12 of the class cleared.

After 9 years of properly recording my moves, this year has seen me
clear many classes. With many more new units to be introduced nationwide in the coming years there will still be more to keep me entertained.

Plus of course the worldwide stuff on my travels.

Cleared all the 395's for haulage today, the last one being 395009.

Took about 18 months since I started actually recording numbers, without chasing them, just boarding trains as normal.

Not bad at all good sir! I'm definitely eyeing up London this weekend now, although I'm going to check if there's rugby on first!

Congrats on clearing your 172s, IIRC 172104 is my last 172 to try and locate :)

I need a good evening peak session on the Thameslink core to try and track down my last 2 Thameslink 319s (I assume 214 & 436 are still with Thameslink), last 4 TL 377s & 7 387s

LOROL 317s are not difficult to track down, since the diagrams were provided by someone a while ago. Pretty pleased that the WA side of LOROL are now all clear so I can focus on the Crossrail 315s for now. They can be a PITA to get considering the horror scenes at Stratford in the afternoon peak. I had to shout at the whole carriage to move down the aisles the other day "or I will push myself on" before managing to squeeze myself on 315818. Some people just stand there like statues until yelled at, before reluctantly moving themselves to give other people a chance to get on.

I routinely see dwell times in excess of 3 minutes at platform 8 at Stratford in the evening peak. It's primarily why I take the fast services to Shenfield. It's less reliable, far more expensive and I often still have to stand but it's nowhere near as unpleasant and it does save a little time. Hopefully when the 345s arrive the additional capacity provided will change that.
315s have been my local unit almost since I was born, but I'm not certain I've got every single one, when I finally catch up I'm going to check that - I have a rather worrying suspicion one of the lower numbered units might have made it over to the WA side without me recording it (only started documenting units in the period after I changed to using C2C for my default commute, so 500-600 journeys on 315s are undocumented)

Moving down the aisle, what is this alien concept?

Agreed, even on Sundays some of those services can be rammed (especially after closing time at the shops)

I need to get over to Liverpool Street at some time to track down my last 5 blue 315s (and 315808 in orange). So much to do in little time.
