The actions of the op posting the spoiler at 0447 after the viewing are a little sad. I don't even watch Star Wars. But the sole motivation appears to be spoiling it for other people.

He would have probably posted earlier but it took time to get out of his storm trooper outfit.

And you've given another spoiler, let you refuse to apologise. This is too idiotic!

The thread title now has a warning... If you do not want to read it, then do not read it

Actually, I went as a Jedi

And anyway - the plot was leaked online for around a month before the movie was released and could be widely found

I really don't understand peoples issue, it doesn't take a genius to realise that a thread about a recently released film, may discuss important plot points of the aforementioned film.

However I thought the film was alright, it seemed to have a LOT of action in it, perhaps even too much, and I was getting a little tired by the end. Some of the dialogue felt a bit rushed in places, for example Solo explaining about the Jedi could have involved some more flowery language I feel.

It was also a bit vague about the republic/rebellion/resistance/imperial/first order boundaries and relationships, which I feel should have been expanded upon

So:

-You post a huge spoiler for the biggest movie of the millennium so far
-You defend it because a warning was in the title, but you didn't add it yourself
-You stubbornly refuse to apologise and even still feel glad that you spoilt it for one user before the s**ding warning was up
He has left the Republic and his rank after his son turned to the Dark Side
-You then post another major spoiler without highlighting to try and defend your point

Enjoy your credibility while it lasts!

The title of the thread says contains spoilers. If you don't want to read spoilers and click on a thread that says contains spoilers then you only have yourself to blame

The title of the thread only had 'contains spoilers' because a mod ADDED IT TO THE TITLE. I do not care especially about the spoilers, but Haydn clearly does, and I expect that there are posters and lurkers who do to. Did you even read my post?

Your complaint was that he added further spoilers. AFTER IT WAS ADDED TO THE TITLE (sorry about the caps but monkey see monkey do)

So? The original spoiler was posted BEFORE IT WAS ADDED TO THE TITLE (sorry about the caps but...)

The resistance is operated by the core of the old Rebel Alliance with the New Republic letting them do what they would like. I would assume that anybody joining this group would resign a commission in the Starfighter Command before joining them so the NR can "disavow" themselves

Please go back to the post of yours that I replied to and read what you have put.
"And you've given another spoiler"
That is what I was taking issue with. Not the original posting

I'm going to see this film. If you lot think it's worth getting your panties in a twist over, it must be half good. Put your light Sabres away boys and agree to disagree, regardless of HMS Mcgobby-Scums bonfire urination of the plot, it's got a none Star Wars fan interested in seeing the film.

Question: Are there any Ewoks in it? My brother had a cuddly toy one years ago, it gave me nightmares. I don't do Ewoks.

I know that, but it seems as though he wants to keep going on stubbornly instead of apologising.

Incidentally, look out for a pink R2 unit put in the film as a tribute to a little girl who died from cancer and whose dad created the 501st Legion of fans/re-enactors. It has appeared in the animated Clone Wars series and now in the foreground of at least one scene - carries the designation R2KT

Ill let you know what it's like, but if there's Ewoks, I'm outta there!!

No Ewoks... However Admiral Ackbar is there
