Just asking as the Thunderbird is timed to go through Church Fenton whereas the Scotsman isn't showing that on RTT.

What time will she pass through, roughly?

Light engine run down South appears to have left 20 minutes late but has made up time to be one minute early...

At the time of this post, the jolly green giant is approaching Hatfield

Yes it passed through Hitchin pretty much on time at 3.21pm. Impressive sight even with just one carriage. Looking forward to seeing it tomorrow with a full load.

Yeah, was one minute late through there...

It seems to be losing time as it approaches London again - 4L at Potters Bar

Great to see the Flying Scotsman in full steam pulling one coach just south of Retford this afternoon in brilliant sunshine. A wonderful sight indeed!

Just registered to say thank you guys so much! I've spent about 3 hours researching it's run as it wasn't showing up on RTT for me (it's an hours drive to the line so want to get it right) and managed to narrow it down with your help. Thank you! So excited hah!

Welcome to the show that never ends.

Here you will find us all warm and welcoming except if you say rude things about Classes 142, 143 and 144... Then it is unremitting hostility :D :D :D

Joking aside, glad to see you've joined us and it will be a pleasure to see what you contribute to the group

Really looking forward to seeing the Scotsman out in action tomorrow - saw it in the NRM works the other day and looked excellent!

If anyone uses periscope, Network Rail gave the trip the honour of the first broadcast from their account, filming from on board as it left KGX.

The broadcast has now ended live but is still available to watch.

EDIT: Today's trip is here http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U59844/2016/02/25/advanced

I like the touch of putting the train's name in the info

SECOND EDIT: Just realised that looked like I was reposting the link as something new. It was supposed to be more of a comment on the name in the info! Badly written, sorry!

Looked stunning! It would have been amazing to have been on an adjacent platform or train and to have seen it depart.

I'm not a spotter but I did think about going up to Tallington or Helpston to see it!

She seems to be alright, though it appears she is reporting 20 down

I say seems to be because RTT has stopped reporting her position

Currently showing as 20 late (normal congestion on that part of the ECML?)

Not when I have used it - I just hope its nothing serious

Just seen Sky News - the 20 minutes lateness is due to some bloody idiots standing on the ECML... Making all trains stand still

I watched the Scotsman passing through Arlesey from platform 2. Quite an amazing sight, especially being that close to locomotive as she passed by. It was very impressive how many people turned up at Arlesey to see her passing.

I recorded a video of her passing, which I may upload later I'd it turned out OK.

The awful Matthew Wright has just said the train has been stopped because of trespassers.
"I don't know where ?
I think the ECML station ? so where would that have started from ? Euston ? Liverpool Street ?" somebody in the audience shouted KX.
