Hi all, I am planning on visiting the Seven Valley in the summer and I am looking for a day that has the best timetable for the most amount of diesel haulage, if anybody has any ideas that would be great. Thanks (PS-I know that I could have gone to the seven valley diesel gala last weekend but I had the small thing called GCSEs to revise for instead)

Well anticipated, I was going to say the diesel gala! Good luck with your GCSEs!

You probably know that the railway's website lists the diesel roster over the next few months. That would be my starting point. The SVR has loads of different diesels running this Summer and you probably have your favourites.
After that, Matt is right in recommending a timetable C Saturday for 2 round trips.
Hope your GCSES go well and that you have a great Summer. My equivalent Summer was in 1974 and post exams it was divided 3 ways between holiday job, girls and trains on the North Wales coast - mainly 24s, 25s, 40s and dmus if I remember correctly.

Looks like that I will try to do the either the 9th of July or a weekday on the weekday on the week starting the 20th of June, question about the blue timetable, is there way that I would be able to have a return trip behind the diesel and a return trip behind a steam engine? Thanks.

PS-I am trying to do one of those days as Seven Valley's 52 is out on the diesel diagram and I have never experienced western thrash:D

Going off the SVR website, for the dates you've stated there is no diesel turn on the blue timetable.

I should think so, just get a "Freedom of the Line" ticket and you can jump on/off as much as you like, all day. I'd recommend this if you're planning on a trip to the SVR anyway.

No, there is no way to have a return trip from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth on the Blue timetable with 2 locos.

It would depend on whether you would rather have a full line run with the Diesel loco or one of the two steam locos.
