Cheers for that, I'm not after long periods of time off, just a day here and there for hospital appointments (of the maternal type!)
If you are up to scratch you get a week off around week 13? Depending on which toc, not keen on you missing anything
Unlikely, who is it with?
No a/l until the classroom work was completed when I trained, not even bank holidays. It would be pretty disruptive to the class if you took a couple of weeks off as they tend to cram as much into a short space of time as possible.
As the OP stated, it would be an odd day for hospital appointments. More than likely an afternoon or morning ordeal and not a full day? My toc were accommodating to these issues as we have lives to live also. While you are granted time off during classroom, I will stress what others have said. It must be absolute minimum as you may fall behind the workload. A guy on my course ended up needing a week off due to illnesses and caught up in his own time. Basically sitting 2 exams for the price of 1 while we sat another. Didn't take him long to catch up.
Just make sure you state exactly when and keep to a min and they should be understanding
Hi mate
whereabouts you going to be based?
I'm due to start my driver training on 13th June. I was wondering if there was any annual leave whilst training? Thanks.
I would ask your HR department.I'm due to start driver training shortly and having come from another position internally, I wondered if the annual leave I still have remaining for this year is transferred across or whether the slate is wiped clean so to speak.
If so, I better use my remaining days!
Any info gratefully appreciated..
Thank you
