It looks like Realtime Trains is still suffering from the hard drive issues it had on Thursday as both Flying Scotsman's tour and Tornado's tour wasn't on RTT today at all yet both were showing on Open Train Times so it's not as if Network Rail withheld the times. I've not seen a path missing on one website but not the other before. I can only assume the data was missed as a result of the issues RTT had? Only a guess though.

Could also ben he owner of RTT had decided no to show them, where others have.

Ok, could do with a little bit of advice here. As I may have mentioned before, my youngest son (22 months old) is train mad. He always has to be holding one of his toy trains, demands Thomas on within minutes of getting up etc. We were planning on going to Crewe on the 15th to see the train as it departs for Holyhead (had hoped I would have my 20 week scan at Leighton hospital in Crewe on the same day but as Sod's law would have it, it's the day after)

Anyway, my son is at that annoying stage of toddlerhood where he is scared of everything....bubbles (seriously), the sand at the beach, the geese on the pond and even his own shadow (again, seriously) and I'm just wondering if we would be best popping along to the heritage centre instead as it is opening 4-9 this coming Tuesday and the following Tuesday evenings and 9am-12pm this coming Wednesday and the following Wednesday morning whilst the loco is stabled there as opposed to Crewe station on the Afternoon of the 15th. Would it be noisy as he seems extremely sensitive to noise and I'm guessing there would be a fair few people there

It will be noisy but not overly so especially if it stops in the station. The loudest bit will be the whistle. Hands over the ears should do the job. Tell him it is Henry ;)

The station will be busy so the heritage centre might let you have a bit more space

It seems official link to Crewe Heritage Centre (ending in dot org is affected with a suspect virus, so please BE AWARE ! I tried to look at it re Flying Scotsman , but got the info via its Facebook page.

The owner has said before that he's not censoring any times, so no-show of timings could be down to the recent hardware woes of RTT's servers. Alternatively, it could be Network Rail being as last-minute as possble regarding TRUST entries (either intentional or not...)

Have you heard that whistle? It's feeble, to say the least!

Pictures like this will get the train banned from mainline. People seemingly cannot be trusted.

There is a limitless supply of stupid people.

I would suggest the heritage centre as well - if there is loud whistling, just say that it is the steam engine talking to him... Works all the time for me

Not 100% sure about the Scotsman trip for Saturday but Tornado's times for ECML on Saturday never appeared at all.

Thank you for all your opinions/advice. We are going to take him to the heritage centre tomorrow evening then if that goes ok, will take him to Crewe station next Wednesday. we will also have our 4 year old with us who is completely indifferent to trains, but as he made us go to the beach yesterday which made for a thoroughly miserable day for our youngest, I guess you can call it pay back ha ha

Crewe Heritage Centre publicity suggest the Emerald Isle Express on 15th June is only steam from Crewe - or at least 60103 only goes on there.

I tweeted Tom (the owner) and he confirmed that lack of both Flying Scotsman's times and Tornado's times on Saturday were related to the hardware issues.

The Northern Belle on Saturday with 68s in the Westcountry wasn't on there either.

I may have missed something, but as I understood it, FS is nowhere near the York to Newcastle route today, as it is running from Crewe, through Shropshire to Bristol and Paddington. In any case, Amble is on the north east coast, north of Morpeth, nowhere near the Newcastle to York route and away from the railway altogether.

Started Holyhead, thence to Paddington. Have seen reports on Yahoo Group of morons on the lineside between Crewe and Shrewsbury even before it had left Crewe. These prats will never learn and are going the right way for bans having to be put in place. They might then, and only then, get the message but they might then feel proud of spoiling things for the majority and who have been born with brain cells,.

Sorry I didn't make it clear the trespass pictures are not from today. It was the fact that Amble is nowhere near the York to Newcastle route I was referring to.

Re journey today and people on lineside between Crewe and Shrewsbury, there were delays on the Marches Line due to "Trespassers on line".

does anyone know its running schedule (or where to find it) for wednesday the 15th leaving euston? i want to see it, not as close as some people have been, from what ive found on realtime trains is something arriving from southall run by west coast and then nothing leave that platform until another VT terminator

http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U50576/2016/06/15/advanced

any help will be great
As has been mentioned by DarloRich, myself and others above, it is reported that "Flying Scotsman" will only be hauling the train forward from Crewe, which is how it is described on the official "Scotsman on the tracks" tour page.
