Does anyone roughly know whats going on over the weekend for the Balloon Fiesta?

Not sure weather to go to Bristol for the shuttles or do the Wessex Truck Show, but depends what's on the Shuttles.

Last year there was a couple of Trident's drafted in and Bath Bendy's, just wondering if there is likely to be any Tridents this year? If so, probably the last opportunity to see these on Balloon shuttles

I suspect its a bit unlikely to see Tridents. If you want Tridents, Bristol isn't really the ideal place for them. Bendies are bound to be used. I expect some E400MMCs on there along with some Geminis.

In Bristol a minute ago - 47441 on 51 - very full indeed. Cant wait to go into Bristol on the odd occasion at peak - 376 will be jam packed.

A very very tired dirty 32021 on 6

Quite a few 51 ALXs out too

and 39191 out on 72

37626 on 71 this evening - a transfer? A loan? Or do LH run it in the evening?

Mr White has updated his website - 32352 to LH, 50318 withdrawn, 53103 to Glasgow, 66104 withdrawn from training, 42916 in Bath

That's interesting regarding 37626. Must be a brief transfer over as the 71 is definitely not run by LH. 37626 was on the 73 on Monday.

42916 has been back in Bath for a couple of months. In fact I don't think it lasted more than a few weeks at WM.

What's happened to 66104?! Didn't last long as a trainer. I do hope it doesn't get removed just yet! Also notice 66115 has been sold, rather than converted to trainer as per original plan.

Now that 66104 has been withdrawn, will we get an update on it's potential preservation: http://1905group.webs.com/our-vehicles

Thought I'd seen 42916 in Bath a few times recently.

As expected, 53103 has also gone to Glasgow. TBH, I wonder if 50318 has gone the same way?

A hengrove bus was on the 1 or 2 a few weeks ago, loans for the day have happened before.

Steve White has again updated his website. Apparently 50318 has not gone to Glasgow but is stored 'long term reserve' along with eight long withdrawn Darts and three B10BLE s.

Given that one of those is 42705 and is out the front of Muller Road missing various parts (as well as being non PSVAR), you'd be surprised if that had some Lazurus like return to service! A different interpretation of being "held in reserve"?

That said, I've been surprised how long it's hung around! Also, surely those Excels must be depreciated by now?

Any sign of vehicles arriving for the 902 and 904 yet? Not long until the switchover now. Can't say I shall complain if the Citaros buy themselves a few more weeks, however.

Long term reserve - being held for spares? And would this be Muller Road?

I did pop round Muller Road about 2/3 weeks ago but struggling to remember what was there. 42705 was out front (as it has been for months). Think 41162 might have been round the back? The B10BLEs were mainly parked inside

I've not seen 42643 there - parked up in Bath depot? Was always quite a tidy looking machine

As for the new P&R vehicles, they'll doubtless be spotted at Falkirk and expect they'd be arriving around the bank holiday in time for 4th September. However, that will be it for the bendis; even if there was any delay with the new fleet, I'd expect the PVR drop at the same time to permit some fleet to be retained temporarily and allow B9s to be used.

I've been told it's heading to Hampshire, so not just yet. Still a while away yet...

In other news, something (can't say what yet) should be heading up from Hampshire to Bristol for Balloon shuttles...

42643 is at Lawrence Hill, going to a school apparently.

Taunton P&R Streetlite WF 55102 did a circuit of the 55/77/54 starting 0844 55 from Taunton. On its return was replaced by 23014 for the 1344 55.

Anything else came up for the weekend?

Out of curiosity, just wondering what the changes are for routes 14/X14 in September? Could FSW Official give us an idea? I'm curious about the route of 14A

On my way into work in Bath this morning, I saw a lorry towing a red park and ride bus. I didn't have enough time to see its registration or number, but it was definitely a bus usually on the 903 Long Ashton Park and Ride.

I spotted it between on the A46 between J18 of the M4 and Pennsylvania - any idea why this bus is being towed over here?

Could it have been one of the ones that's been stored for a while by the railway near Chippenham rather than a Bristol Park and Ride one?

i'm always curious what the purpose for leaving lots of buses near the railway near Chippenham is all about, but the bus in question was definitely a long ashton park and ride bus in the red/yellow colours

Really!?!

I can't see any of their E200's / B7TL/Gemini's / B7TL/ALX400's / Solo SR's / Solo SE's / MAN/Meridian for sale!

"Below is a selection of vehicles we currently have for disposal. If the exact vehicle specification you require is not on the list, give us a call and we will check our fleet list to try and find the vehicle you are looking for."

Sounds to me that if the price is right they would accept offers on other vehicles.
