Noticed on a digital sign at Ashford International that the weekday 07:06 Ashford Int. to St. Pancras will be formed of 6 cars due to damage to a unit. Does anyone know which unit and what happened to it?

TIA

Simon

Pretty sure it was 395020 and it was a coupling incident. Think it's gone to Wolverton for repairs.

Has been issues before where one of the units (more likely the one being driven) has failed to open the nose doors when coupling.

Not sure what that was. As stated, the one in question went around lunch time one day early last month.

So, human error, or that fabled Japanese reliability we hear about? Presume we can look forward to more of the same with IEP.
