Has the GTR handover of purple 377's to Southeastern started? There was an 8-car one on platform 4 at Victoria this morning, I couldn't see if it had a service, anyone got any info on this?

What are the other workings for the leased units, if anyone knows?

Thanks!
I seem to remember that they once worked the 16:20 from CHX to Hastings, does this no longer happen?
Indeed, one of the 377 diagrams incorporated the 16:20 London Charing Cross to Hastings - an express of 90 minutes petitioned for by Amber Rudd MP and, as such, called the Amber Rudd Super Express (abbreviate that yourself!)
That changed earlier this year to 2x 375s instead of 377s. Then, with the recent August timetable changes, the express has switched to Cannon Street and is now the 16:22 London Cannon Street to Hastings, which is 1x 375 for now.
Thanks, I always chuckle at that abbreviation!! Just 1x 375 does sound a tad cramped for such a service but I guess with unit allocations being so tight they prefer to strengthen services that run later in the peak.
Such a service that now has less 100 passengers... that stock would be better used on other services!

I caught the 16:20 Charing Cross to Hastings "Amber Express" a few times, mainly out of curiosity, since I thought it would have few passengers, as most would get the 16:15 Charing Cross to Hastings. In fact, where I was seated, usually the 6th or 7th carriage, it was approximately half full from Waterloo East that's at least as crowded as most of the late afternoon, but pre-rush hour trains, in my experience.
Since it moved to be the 16:22 from Cannon Street and has been cut to 4 carriages, I've caught it only once. That time it was 3/4 full where I sat. I would have caught it on Friday but it was cancelled!
The last day for 377's on these services should be 25/11/2016. That is also the last date for them working on Thameslink services as well. Date may be subject to change of course due to cascade issues with the 700's.For now...
