I've just noticed that ČD booking engine offers tickets for just over 400 CZK (about £13) for Nürnberg to Czech destinations and tickets for about 600 CZK (about £20) from Brussels for travel on various dates in the next few weeks, which undercuts Brussels-Nürnberg fares quite significantly. Unfortunately the site doesn't get to the UK. It also offers similar fares for the München-Praha ALX service but if you use DB's IC Bus or a long-distance train to get into the Czech Republic the fares are much higher.

The fares are set in euros and then converted to CZK: https://www.cd.cz/eshop/data/CenyVJE.pdf?v=20160714

Thanks for the flag-up. Worth investigating further when I have a moment...

DB also offers generous 19 eur fares for BRU-most stations in DE, but mostly for non-ICE-thus D/IC-trains.
It MAY also be the CZ-side of special very short-timed offer for even lower 14 EUR such tickets, but that expired 1/11. Those interested should check again.
BTW-in general nov. is really the month for cheap rail-offers in most EU-countries. I especially like the 19 eur DAYtickets (alas, only for seniors>62 holding local Vorteilcards=Railcards, costing 29 eur/year) on all of Austria-OeBB.

Are you sure this is correct? The 19 EUR tickets are officially only available for short journeys, and I've never found them for Brussels to/from anywhere much beyond the Köln/Düsseldorf area. The Czech fares are completely different to the Brussels-Germany fares offered on the same trains. For example:

15.11.2016
06.25 / 10.25 Bruxelles-Frankfurt-Nürnberg-Cheb-Praha-(Brno/Ostrava etc.): 690 CZK (25.54€, £22.76), bought at cz.cd. Bruxelles-Nürnberg bought at bahn.de using the same trains costs 109 €. You can get it for 39 € using only IC or regional trains.
