Audley End. There is the boxer Audley Harrison, and I once met a man whose surname was Ende.

Dalston Kingsland should have been a West Indian fast bowler, but wasn't.

The Lee brothers from West Yorkshire- Keith, Bram, Shep, and Bing.

Don't forget the one who was made a judge - the Hon. Lee.

Are there any Mor (ley) of these?
There must be some of this Ilk (ley) around.
We're Heading (ley) in a dreadful direction here.
You can't just say (k)Notting (ley) to that.

I'll get my coat.

Wolverhampton (place) is named after Wulfrun or Wulfhere, kings of Mercia.

Wednesbury (home of Midland Metro) is named after norse god Wotan/Woden/Odin (Wodens-burg).
There's a modern statue of Sleipnir, Wotan's 8-legged horse, outside the metro depot.

The Runcorn-Widnes rail bridge is named the Queen Ethelfleda bridge after a queen of Mercia, daughter of Alfred the Great.

Yes, yes it is.

Here's Garth Powys and his friend Barry Links. Followed by Fern Hill and her husband, Flint.
Oh, and that well known suburbanite, Miss Vane recently took up doubles badminton with a thunder god, but they're not very good: every game it's Lis Vane and Thor: nil.

On the Glasgow Subway:

St. Enoch, Kelvin Hall, Kelvin Bridge & St George's Cross.

Surprised nobody's mentioned either Kirkhill (Kirk Hill) or Maxwell Park (Max Well Park) yet.

Given many places are named after people and many people are named after places. then it fits that train stations in places could well be similar to the names of people

Though there are several coincidental ones. Some of the ones being suggested are a bit contrived (including mine) and some don't really scan.
