I see this thread has morphed into a general alcohol on trains thread which we have debated to death on these forums before.

Has anyone answered the OP's question yet?

Well I just did the obvious and went on Virgin Trains Live Chat. I asked if trains tomorrow from Euston to Stoke are dry trains meaning that alcohol is not allowed. They replied by saying that dry trains mean that alcohol is not allowed completely failing to answer the question. Banning alcohol from the train will not mean that it won't be full of drunk nutters anyway.

Any idea if the trains back to Stoke on Trent this coming Sunday will allow alcohol on board,were on the 1900 didn't realize the Mancs were at wembley.

Dry trains from 18:07 onwards mate. That is from Virgin.
