I haven't used the station for a few weeks but maybe they've finished the track works and are testing P4 back in use for GA before they start running TFL train to Shenfield again? (If they haven't started the latter already?)

Yes, that does make sense. It is good to see Shenfield getting back to normal again after such a long time. I do hope that the next station signs on P6 are temporary though. The font is really small.

Realtime Trains showing TfL trains in passenger service now using Shenfield platforms 5 and 6 (but reverting to bus Brentwood - Shenfield later in May).

Near a bunch of sheds that aren't 66s.
TfL Rail has returned to Shenfield as of yesterday using platforms 5 and 6. The scenario for the next two weeks is that as not all the works are completely finished yet, it will be every other train on weekdays will continue to terminate at Brentwood platform 4 and then every 20 minutes a train will continue to Shenfield (platform 5 only?).

I believe off peaks it's the 00, 20 and 40 past the hour trains off London Liverpool Street will terminate at Shenfield with the 10, 30 and 50 past the hour trains terminating at Brentwood. Interesting considering at Brentwood there's a tight 5 minute turnaround for trains terminating there! To make matters more complicated, during the PM peak there's trains going Gidea Park (interstablers), Brentwood and Shenfield - one train during the PM peak, the 1749 to Brentwood that has a very tight 3 minute turnaround at Brentwood to make way so that the 1756 to Shenfield can pass through on the same platform!

Will be interesting tomorrow seeing a mixture of eastbound destinations in the PM peak!

Just when you thought it was all over!

Another blockade 28th May with the Newbury Park connection making an appearance again. I expect these odd days to come up now and again so it's a massive improvement on what we've had for the past 18 months. Hopefully the real end is in sight shortly.

As an aside, has anyone else spotted the new Queen Elizabeth line units parked outside Ilford? Anyone know when these are due into service?

Full line closures should be coming to an end soon. Bar one at August Bank Holiday weekend.

Next significant tfl rail closures will be several weekends of no running Liverpool Street - Stratford on Saturdays due to Pudding Mill (Eastern Portal) works.
GA should be unaffected and Sundays apart from the odd exception should allow 2 track working.

I believe plans are in place for one to be introduced to an off peak diagram in the new timetable. Exact dates I'm not sure.
