Can't access UKTrainsim forum?

Every time I try to go on the UKTrainsim Forum I am getting the following message:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Too many connections [1040]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

This has been happening for a few days now.

It is working most of the time. Try again in an hour or so.

Got exactly the same issue again today, so it's either something they can't fix or can't be bothered to fix.

It's intermittant, I find - the problem exists for a few minutes (no more than twenty), then passes. It seems to be that during peak usage, the servers are overloaded to the point that they cannot properly operate.
