That was tough, I found the mmi a breeze compared to that. Difficult to know what the answers are that they are looking for, when they start to probe. Nice bloke's though but serious when it started.

Yes I think I did lol. How did you find it shahid? I found it challenging mate

They got me when they asked what do I know about MTR as a corporation I answered with they're a Hong Kong based company and I named which other countries they have invested in, then they asked what else does the company do lol, couldn't really answer that one, but I thought the competency questions were ok, similar to the mmi

I don't mean to scare you people..but I'm out of the race. Have requested for feedback..at least I only have to do DMI only if I apply for the role again. Good luck to you all.

Blimey sorry about that mate, just shows how tough it is. Really did find it difficult and probably the same as everyone else, but my mind did start going blank on certain questions.

Tough game this but chin up, come back stronger. That's what I will do if I don't make it.

hey tarmak sorry to hear you didn't make it with MTR i know how it feels. this time last year i made it all the way to the interview stage and failed. however i didn't give up! i applied to other TOCs in the hope i would get the dream job! and i am happy to say i got a job with another TOC passed my rules and traction and have started getting my hours in as a trainee driver! if i had passed my interview with MTR still to this date i would not have even started my rules, so in a way it was a good thing. you made it this far you done well apply apply apply and soon enough you will make it! you can apply to mar again in 6 months but any other toc asap.

Hi Sotac, I haven't heard anything as yet mate.

Still no news mate? They are certainly keeping you waiting, hopefully that means good news as I'd have thought they would have informed you when termak was told.

Let us know as soon as you do, I really hope it's good news for you mate.

All the best.

Wasn't you asked a customer service question during your mmi?

Disappointed to say the least when I got my feedback but keep your chin up and apply to other tocs and mor again in 6 months.

Hi All,

I Emailed the MTR recruitment team today to find out what the outcome of my DMI was due to it being over two weeks without any information. By the afternoon I had a missed call on my mobile phone a voicemail was left, so listened to the voice mail it stated that I had to phone MTR recruitment. I phoned the recruitment team and had an amazing conversation they stated that I was successful and have a provisional start date of March 2018, I just got Medical and reference and DBS left to do, I am over the moon and can't wait to start working for MTR Crossrail and being part of the team keeping London moving. Thanks for the people on the Forum that gave some useful information, just remember those that are going through the process work hard and put the effort in to succeed in getting your dream job, fail to prepare then prepare to fail, good luck to you all.:D

That's absolutely fantastic mate, I thought you had it in the bag, well done. A lot of hard work gone in, still waiting on mine but really pleased for you mate, you sound like a nice bloke.
