It's now updated to cancelled throughout - earlier it was showing as 50 early at Kensington Olympia - perhaps a wrong headcode entered, or RTT just stuffing it up?

"A planning error" seems to come up fairly often on RTT, the actual reason for the cancellation on NRE is the usual "A shortage of train drivers".

No "A Planning Error" is correct - some idiot decided to plan a train that they knew had no chance of ever running. :D;)

Probably picked up the wrong signal from an incorrectly set up train.

TI is a rostering issue, eg. guard or driver double-booked.

I did wonder if it was a recurrence of something that happened the other week - a signal failure at East Croydon took platforms 5/6 out of use, as a result the inbound train was terminated short at Selhurst and sent back running about 20 minutes early (but in service) to Clapham Junction to get it out of the way of other trains. I saw it from the SN I ended up getting to Victoria instead, and this had indeed happened on that occasion.

Guess it was the usual staff shortage and nothing interesting like that! Cheers all.

Staff cover issues really, not a major shortage on this occasion, though it would have felt like it! A number of Southern WLL trains were cancelled tonight due to a combination of only a couple of uncovered driver duties as well as drivers being diverted to other work.
