I'm travelling down to Bournemouth today and have just purchased a Freedom of the Severn and Solent 3 in 7 rover.

Out of curiosity when did the price increase? I was a bit taken aback to find the price has increased by nearly £15!

They went up last May from £46.45 to £59 for an adult 3 in 7 and from £71.20 to £79 for 8 in 15

Steep increase for the 3 in 7 compared to the 8 in 15. Maybe it was felt it was too good value!

Still, it's cheaper than a standard return even if it does take longer and gives an extra day too.

The year before in 2015 they increased by just 1% from £46 (3 in 7) and £70.50 (8 in 15).
The increase this time (2017) being 27% and 11% respectively.
Probably to maintain differentials with other tickets that had greater increases over the years.
