Can't tell you what it's like for freight now, but there is a public footbridge right across the yard. Accessible from Barden Road or Sussex Road (longer walk).

Good evening Toad2017. Anytime I have been across to Tonbridge the West Yard has mainly been a combination of GBRf 66's and 73's. Lately there has been a lot of RHTT activity but I am not sure if this is still happening. Usually plenty of wagons in the yard but I am afraid my entire knowledge of what they are used for could be written on the head of pin!
