Could speculate all day about this! Will be interesting to see where the train actually goes when it arrives further south.

Perhaps it was originally meant to be the Euston Backing Out Roads, which has some similar codes, but the destination was amended to something else because the Backing Out Roads (it would appear) are under a T3 possession today.

RTT sometimes automatically inserts non-compulsory timing locations for schedules. Maybe the locations between Euston and "Euston Ballast" (whatever that is) were added in error.

When creating a VSTP like that it's easy to type in an incorrect STANOX if you're not just copying an existing schedule. Most of the time a simple error of that type isn't an issue but it can cause problems if, for example, you accidentally type 07361 (Mossend PD Stirling) instead of 07360 (Mossend Down Yard) and don't notice before uploading the schedule to the mainframe, as it would mean the train could not be consisted in TOPS by the operator because the system thinks the loco and wagons are in the wrong place.

Sometimes the wrong STANOX is requested by the TOC/FOC on the VSTP request form - and it'll be entered verbatim - and sometimes there isn't one that exactly fits where the train is really going, so you just have to pick one reasonably close. As long as the STANOXes used in between are valid links then you can put in whatever you like... I could knock you up a VSTP schedule from 07335 (Caldercruix Crossover) to 01003 (Thurso UKAEA) via 08651 (Stranraer Town Freight Depot) and have it showing live on Real Time Trains in about 2 minutes if I wanted.

Backing out roads are under a possession of part of HS2. I believe there has been a Network Change and Backing Out Road 1 was removed some time ago...

Thanks for that.

I'm not into map speak, can that be put on a map somehow?

Not that intuitively, but if you know the OS Grid is divided up into 100 km grid squares, by removing the leading digits of the two groups it translates to TQ 29411 82858, which is Euston Station throat on the relevant OS Map. For normal day to day stuff people usually only quote a 6 figure grid reference, which in this case would be 294 828 once you are on the right map. IYSWIM...

We will soon find out as set is currently at Euston P15 presumably waiting to reverse.

Edit: Now heading north.

Edit: Seems to have gone to Wembley Depot.
