Of those three, I much prefer the third version.

The first version, I have to say, reminds me of Chad peering over his wall... I can imagine the caption... "WOT! No passengers?!?"

Does VTWC new livery really count as a livery? Saw one in Lime Street yesterday and it really is just an off white tube with a not particularly nice shade of red splashed on each end.

This is what I (and I'm sure, wmt) was going for

An image someone else did of the full front LM style yellow...(the top image is not mine)

And then two others which could be done if headlights were upgraded...

The last one is my favourite as someone who doesn't mind non-yellow ends, but it looks good with a full yellow end too - far better than just the idiotic gangway panel on the current livery.

Top LM style is spot on IMO

Got to agree with you on this aswell, the photoshopped picture with the yellow lm style surround, looks far better than what is actually used.

I know that there is a "old guard" of forum user, whom remember the days before the yellow panels were put on most types of traction, but to me, seeing UK locomotion having less yellow, or no yellow at all looks awful, even more so if the livery is dark and dingey looking!

On a brighter side, every time I see a picture of the new wm railway livery I want to devour a cadburys milk chocolate bar! :D

I'm quite a fan of non-yellow ends, it can look good. In this case, however, that's the far and away the best use of the colour scheme yet. The yellow front deployed in that manner just seems to be what works best on 350s. Perhaps it's the familiarity. I also suspect non-yellow ends work better with non-gangwayed stock.

Dealer stock livery. I really don't understand why they went for a matt vinyl for the Virgin branding. My slight livery change would be to make it gloss.

New Eurostar livery on the 373s just with the yellow area and overhead warning line as they are on the original eurostar livery. looks so much more right to me.
(Apologies for my appaling paint work)

Looks good. When some were used by SNCF on the TGV network they painted out the yellow ends. I'm trying to visualise what that would look like with this livery.

Saw another one as I passed Edge Hill tonight. Someone really is taking the mick, they actually got paid to do that!!!! Virgins new "Livery" makes Arriva Northerns look like a work of art.

Have to agree, because matt makes it looked washed out and goes against the silk effect. This is particular evident from the side.

The red vinyl is gloss on the new East Coast 800 that was going around?
