You pipped me at the post as after much area transport research, I was trying to post the 2121 Stagecoach South West service 21A to Ilfracombe (St James Place Gardens) that arrived there at 2206 on Monday evening...:'(

Never mind, we are now where you have left us, just before midnight on a Monday evening at Exmouth railway station

Sorry - it was the first rail departure, which I chose as we arrived at a stop called Barnstaple (Railway Station). I wouldn't have minded going to Ilfracombe either, and it arrives before my post even leaves

We take advantage of the overnight travel relaxation rule and also not wanting to use the same rail service to return, we decide to visit a place where we have been many times in real life and after taking the five minute walk from the railway station to the leisure centre, we next board the 0628 Stagecoach South West service 157 to Budleigh Salterton (Public Hall) that arrives there at 0645 on Tuesday morning.

Now then, none of this hopeful recreation of rail journeys that are no longer possible, as Budleigh Salterton station closed on 6th March 1967, exactly a month before my 22nd birthday.....:p

We remain outside the Public Hall in Budleigh Salterton at 0645 on Tuesday morning.

We take the three minute walk to the railway station and it being a request stop station, give a clear signal to the driver and board the 1216 Great Western Railway service to Lympstone Village that arrives at 1311 on Tuesday afternoon

Posting has been struck-through after an adjudication was made by a forum quizmaster.

Sorry, not possible, as the previous journey arrived at 1136, so it was impossible to leave at 1058.

Yes I noticed as again my page didn't update, so I amended my post and took us to Exeter St Davids but now we've ended up in Lympstone.

We should be at Exeter St Davids at 1247.

I must differ for the simple reason that having made a posting to show why the posting you had made was not possible, I then made a posting which carried from the last valid posting that had been made.

That being the case, you cannot at a later time edit your posting, as my posting had already been posted on the thread.

Let's continue from Exeter St Davids on this occasion.

Paul - DanTrainMan originally crossposted with A Challenge, so edited his post to make a new move at 08:44. This isn't unreasonable, we just got unlucky with all the different overlapping actions.

DanTrainMan - the way you edited your post wasn't particularly clear. It would have been better to leave your old post there (struck through). In some other threads we insist you make any replacement moves in a new post - this would have been a good idea here as it would have avoided all the confusion, so maybe this is something to bear in mind in future.

I made a move to Paignton #13164 after St Davids at 13:43. Is that valid?

Yes, that is valid as that was a continuation from St David's.

We then board the 1404 CrossCountry service 1M93 from Paignton to Stockport, arriving there at 1848 on what I believe is Tuesday evening.
