We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....


This is number 605 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Glencarron Platform
It follows the line of the Dingwall and Skye Railway
It then follows the line of the Inverness and Ross-shire Railway
It then follows the line of the Inverness and Aviemore Direct Railway
It then follows the line of the Inverness and Perth Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the GNoS Strathspey Railway
It then follows the line of the GNoS Keith and Dufftown Railway
It then follows the line of the Great North of Scotland Main Line
It then follows the line of the GNoS Denburn Valley Line
It then follows the line of the Aberdeen Railway
It then follows the line of the North British, Arbroath and Montrose Railway
It then follows the line of the Arbroath and Forfar Railway
It then follows the line of the Scottish Midland Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Edinburgh and Northern Railway....note two instances of 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Fife and Kinross Railway
It then follows the line of the Devon Valley Railway
It then follows the line of the Stirling and Dunfermline Railway
It then follows the line of the E&NR Dunfermline Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Kinross-shire Railway...Note there is a "Curlers Platform" on this line
The journey ends at the closed station of Kinross (Old)

The first closed station on this journey is Glencarron Platform
