I've seen many old maps of where now-closed railway lines ran but I often find it hard to equate the old map with what exists today. Does anyone know if there is a website where I can see modern maps but with old (pre-Beeching?) railway lines overlaid onto them?

I'm particularly interested in lines around Leeds, including Leeds - Wetherby - Harrogate and Harrogate - Ripon.

Thanks!

Google Railmap online and go to the UK version. It's excellent.
