I like the locomotives, are they a standard Swiss design? I think I've seen them before

I’m not sure they are standard - although the nearby Wengernalpbahn has almost identical locos (and they have moved between the two in the past). Unsurprisingly they were build by those Swiss masters of mountain railway traction engineering, SLM, who no doubt used ideas and parts from other fleets when they designed them.

A quick Google of pictures confirms my memory that the basic box on wheels design was used by several mountain lines - not really surprising, at 5mph or so there was little need for anything else.
