Selby
Doncaster (direct route cleared/all passenger routes from Selby cleared.)
First use of First Hull Trains. The air-con was very welcome. The 1230 service sending me back was unwelcome as it was cancelled however, station staff provided me with a taxi as no-one else wanted Selby (nor Howden). I shudder to think the price for a taxi to Selby as it was a 40 minute ride through the countryside. I guess that counts as my first rail replacement service too!

Goring & Streatley
Chosley *
Using my rules of every platform before counting a station, these have finally fallen as engineering (slow line platform extensions) saw the use of the fast line platforms at the above three stations today. * on Chosley as I technically need P5 (preserved railway). Side note: lovely pub at Goring & Streatley called The Catherine Wheel, worth a visit.
There be no fast/slow lines on the Great Western, for it be Main line & relief line platforms
I guess the usual rail replacement minibus for Pangbourne was in operation due to that station not having platforms on the mains
I've got the Cotswolds line walks to come to revisit the shacks.
It's around 2 miles from Finstock to Charlbury so just slightly longer, however IIRC once more there isn't a pavement for part of the route.

I did a bunch of these stations just over a week ago... lovely line with beautiful, well kept stations. Danzey with the huge pine trees (and cones all over the platform ends) and Wood End were my favourites. Went for a walk at Wootton Wawen (Johnathon Ross' nightmare to pronounce) and there is a fine church that's the oldest in Warwickshire and a nice pub called The Navigation Inn, which is right next to a canal and does really good food Claverdon and Bearley, I still need but will fall soon enough.
Well done on getting so much done in one day.
