Hi all,
I'm already a conductor, at another toc. Recently applied for one of the TPE Qualified Conductor roles.
I was sent an email, a few days after applying saying I'd been invited to the next stage of the process, which was an online assessment.
I completed this a few weeks ago but I do know they're very slow at replying.
Does anyone know what the next stage of the application would be?
I understand you don't need to do the assessment centre again as you're already qualified??
Thanks for the help!
Mat

Next stage after the online assessment is an interview with the On Board Service Managers. If you pass that then it's medical and employment.

You're correct in your understanding that you don't need to sit the assessment centre.

Turns out I was invited to an assessment day for the role, as a 'Trainee Conductor'.
I rang up First Recruitment to confirm weather or not I had to attend. They in turn contacted a TPE manager and told me that I didn't and would now be put on hold until we reach the interview stage.
Another question...Does anyone know what the OBSM interview involves? Rule Book Questions ect?

TPE trainee roles?
Think I missed that advertisement.....gutted.

The last trainee roles that were advertised were I think February for York and April-ish for Hull/Sheffield. Before that were December which is the ones I applied for.

I just got into the habit of checking daily as the December ones were up for a day or two.

Pretty standard customer service/conductor interview to be honest. What would you do in xyz situation, examples of good customer service, what would you bring to the role etc. As long as you can demonstrate you can follow rules, and have safety and customer service as priorities that's it really.
