Does anyone know what the problems are at Leeds station?

I've been sat on a train outside the train station for nearly 20 minutes and the guard hasn't communicated anything other than we should be on our way shortly.

My train has just arrived into platform 15 and there's quite a few trains delayed or cancelled.

Both the Blackpool North and Manchester Victoria services to Bradford are showing as delayed.

Reported on NRE (incident created around 7pm) as a signalling problem that is now fixed, but with disruption for the rest of service

Currently sat on the 23:07 to Brighouse. Looks like another delay repay claim for a taxi home after missing the last bus again.

Edit... left Leeds 12 late and conductor very helpful in explaining that all the signals went down.

Delay Repay is based on the actual arrival time at your final destination on the ticket(s).

You may choose to put this towards a taxi fare home, but the fact you got a taxi from the station instead of a bus doesn't influence or effect a Delay Repay claim.

If you wish to make a further claim for taxi costs, this would be an entirely separate matter; depending on the length of the delay, how long you left your connection for the bus, and the cost of the alternative arrangements incurred, it may be the case that you have some rights to claim for consequential losses of the difference in cost under the provisions of the Consumer Rights Act, however without knowing the detail it is impossible to say. Even then, some train companies may take the view that this does not apply to them.
